WINOOSKI, VT? The first annual Northeast Lodging Industry Investment Conference will be held April 26-27 at the Inn at Northampton in Northampton, MA. The conference is being jointly presented by BDO Seidman, Dayman, Lurie & Goldsbury and the Massachusetts Lodging Association. It has been modeled after senior management hospitality conferences held around the nation. Owners, general managers, chief financial officers, controllers and other lodging management professionals are expected to attend. University of Massachusetts professor Rod Warnick will give a keynote address on travel/recreation trends. In addition to the general session, there will be eight workshops on topics such as property repositioning, interval ownership as a development tool, legal issues facing the hospitality industry and a niche market update. There will be also be displays by hospitality industry vendors. The conference begins April 26 with a wine and food-pairing event.
