Mumford Co. Reports Strong 2000 Sales

NEWPORT NEWS, VA The Mumford Company, an economy and mid-market hotel broker, reported that 2000 sales results finished strong. During the year, Mumford completed 35 transactions in 12 states involving brands such as Best Western, Comfort Inn, Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn, Red Roof Inn, Quality Inn, Ramada Inn, Country Hearth Inn, Motel 6 and Super 8. These results were slightly ahead of 1999 s sales activity.

Mumford also reported that there is already a solid pipeline of properties contracted for sale in 2001. (2/16/01)
