DALLAS—Motel 6 has launched its first Spanish-language mobile web experience, allowing the brand to reach more travelers and provide greater ease-of-use to Spanish-speaking audiences in the United States and abroad.
Lance Miceli, EVP/CMO, Motel 6, stated, “We’re committed to a series of efforts to transform our digital experience that will make it easier for Spanish-first audiences to book their reservations in the U.S., while poising the brand for future expansion into Latin America. With the success of our mobile site, we are expecting to launch the Spanish-language desktop version by the end of 2014.”
Travelers will now find “En Espanol” links at the bottom of the Motel6.com mobile website, linking directly to reservation tools, guest services and views of more than 1,100 Motel 6 properties presented in Spanish.
Motel 6’s new Spanish-language mobile site complements its existing phone reservation service, which also is available in both English and Spanish. The new Spanish-language websites are supported by Translations.com’s language services and GlobalLink OneLink technology.
