WASHINGTON, DC-The Monarch Hotel here has added three new members to its executive team while also promoting one within it. Signing on as executive meeting manager at the West End facility is Michael Jahn, formerly with the Westin Fairfax. Also new to the staff is Adam Rineer, assuming the post of group sales manager. The last of the three new additions is Richard Eckersberg, who has been designated to assume the role of executive sous chef for the Monarch Hotel. He previously worked at the Nemocolin Woodlands Resort & Spa in Farmington, PA.
Finally, Quantella Anderson was promoted to the position of corporate sales manager- her second promotion since joining the staff in January of 1999. Sporting a varied background in the travel-related arena, Andersons managerial experience includes a tour-of-duty at the Shannon Inn & Pub in Stroudsburg, PA. (9/5/00)
