RENO— Monarch Casino & Resort expects to report record Revenue, EBITDA, and Net Income for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2002 on Feb. 20, 2003 report. Despite unfavorable weather conditions in the last half of Dec. 2002, management confirmed it remains comfortable with a fourth quarter earnings per share guidance of $0.14. On February 20, 2003, the company expects to issue guidance for 2003. Monarch Casino & Resort, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, owns and operates the tropically-themed Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno, NV. The Atlantis features a 51,000 square-foot casino with approximately 37 table games and approximately 1,500 slot and video poker machines, a sports book, keno and a poker room; 980 guest rooms; six restaurants; an 8,000 square-foot family entertainment center; and approximately 25,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space.
