NEW YORK— Millennium Partners was awarded the NYU Hospitality Industry Investment Conference “Deal of the Year” today for its $750 million undertaking involving the development and revitalization of hotel-centered, mixed-use projects in three major East Coast cities. Despite being a departure from the norm in terms of recognizing major lodging industry transactions, the deal— tying a half-dozen Ritz-Carlton properties in Boston, New York and Washington, D.C. to high-end condominium apartments, retail and entertainment/recreation facilities— was adjudged to be a trailblazer with regard to the wealthy choosing to live in major urban destinations.
