CORAL SPRINGS, FL—Industry development veteran Mike Burgess is now heading up the eastern region development for Vantage’s upscale brands.
Those flags include the company’s midscale to upscale offerings of Lexington Inn, Lexington Hotel, and the brands that are being relaunched under the Vantage umbrella—Jameson Inn, Jameson Suites and 3 Palms Hotels & Resorts.
With more than 22 years in the hospitality industry, Burgess most recently served as regional director for Best Western International. He will join Mark Williams, who was appointed in August as group president of Vantage’s upscale brands.
“The eastern region of the U.S. is a huge opportunity for hotel development and re-branding, and Vantage’s unique business model of low fees, more revenue-generating resources, reasonable brand standards and ‘A Voice and A Vote’ are what hotel owners have been wanting for years,” stated Burgess.
“I’m very excited to have Mike on my team,” stated Williams. “We’ve worked together for years and he has the drive, experience and in-depth knowledge to bring our upscale brands to the next level.”
In July of this year, Vantage Hospitality Group entered into an agreement to acquire the America’s Best Inns & Suites, Country Hearth Inn & Suites, Jameson Inn, Jameson Suites, Signature Inn and 3 Palms Hotels & Resorts brands.
