Micros Selected As Preferred Vendor By Bass

ORLANDO— Micros Systems reported yesterday at the HITEC show that it has been selected by Bass Hotels & Resorts as one of two preferred vendors of property management systems (PMS) for its hotels. The other provider is Pegasus Solutions, said Micros. Micros also reports that it has signed a “letter of intent” with Bass to begin the roll out of its Opera PMS as Bass’ newly acquired Posthouse properties in the United Kingdom. The implementation of the properties, which for the most part will be reflagged as Holiday Inns, begins this summer, said Micros. —Ruthanne Terrero
