ANN ARBOR, MI—The Holiday Inn Near the University of Michigan held a grand reopening that showcases its $5 million, year-long renovation, which included a revamp ofl all guestrooms and public spaces, as well as its Guy Hollerin’s Ann Arbor Bar & Grill.
“Our guests, especially our regulars, are excited to see the final results of this renovation,” stated Joe Sefcovic, the hotel’s general manager.“The lobby, the rooms and the exterior have all been completely updated and modernized so our guests can sit back and enjoy the hotel more than ever before.”
Among the updates, the lobby now features a media lounge with complimentary computers, printing and Wi-Fi; a 24/7 guest pantry stocked with conveniences from gourmet coffees to toiletries to university apparel and area memorabilia; all 225 guestrooms have been renovated with new furniture and features, including in-room refrigerators, microwaves, ergonomic desk chairs, custom lighting and signature artwork; the meeting and event spaces have been updated and expanded, with more than 8,000 sq. ft. of flexible space and a pre-function area with 12 meeting rooms, with the main ballroom space accommodating up to 460 guests. Meeting rooms also now include a state-of-the-art audio system and custom lighting.
The renovation included an update of the (renamed) Guy Hollerin’s Ann Arbor Bar & Grill.
