LAS VEGAS— MGM Grand on December 23 will unveil its two-story SkyLofts, luxury accommodations located on the top two floors of the hotel/casino here. Each of the 51 lofts will feature 24-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows providing dramatic views of the Strip. Priced from $800 to $10,000 per night, SkyLofts will be available in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. The lofts, ranging in size from 1,400 to 6,000 square feet, will feature an advanced level of personalized service. Each SkyLoft includes pre-engraved personalized stationery and business cards, daily fresh fruit, fresh flowers, daily delivery of major national newspapers and Internet editions of hometown newspapers and unique daily morning and evening turndown amenities. Prior to each guest’s arrival, the concierge will discuss preferences for stocking the SkyLoft’s custom private bar and preferred selections of exclusive coffees for use with the In-Loft espresso machine. The SkyLofts bath is highlighted by an infinity-edge tub with a “champagne bubbles” massage function. Shower experiences will feature a steam room, simulated waterfalls, mist and rain, and a comprehensive selection of Bulgari amenities. Available on a 24-hour basis are business center services, laundry/shoeshine services and maid service with twice-daily SkyLoft refreshing.
