DANBURY, CT— Ken Conklin has been promoted to the position of senior vp, Destination Experiences and Marketing for Meyer Jabara Hotels. In his new role, Conklin will have overall responsibility for the development of customized marketing themes and guest packages at each of the company’s 29 hotels. Conklin, and teams at each of the 29 Meyer Jabara Hotels, will partner with local area attractions to creat guest experiences that are exclusive to each hotel. Conklin has been with the company since 1982 and most recently was general manager of the company’s three independent hotels in Baltimore; the Brookshire Suites, Pier 5 and The Admiral Fell Inn.
