COLORADO SPRINGS, CO— As part of hotel REIT MeriStar Hospitality Corporation’s multi-year plan to enhance the quality and earnings power of its hotel assets, an $8 million renovation program has been completed here at the 500-room Sheraton Colorado Springs. According to the property’s GM Gary Upton, the renovation reached all aspects of the property, including upgrading all of the guestrooms and Executive Club rooms with amenities such as the Sheraton signature Suite Sleeper bed. In addition, renovations were made to all meeting and public spaces, including the lobby, two food outlets, and a nightclub, as well as the hotel elevators and parking lot. Located on the eastern base of the Rocky Mountains in the shadow of Pikes Peak, the property features a 24-hour business benter, complimentary fitness facility, concierge service and indoor and outdoor pools
