SEATTLE — The search is on for memories of the Mayflower Park Hotel as it prepares for its 75th anniversary celebration later this year, according to Stacia Williams, the property’s sales and marketing director. Open in 1927 as one of Seattles first upscale hotels, the Mayflower Park Hotel is seeking nostalgic stories about the hotel from guests and visitors during its 75 years of continuous operation. “We are looking for fun, funny or just plain nostalgic stories from the past to include in a historical keepsake that we are publishing for our 75th celebration. These stories will be added to our collection of memories gathered from our 65th anniversary, said Williams. Prizes for winning entries will be awarded.
