NEW YORK— Boutique Hotel Group (BHG) has named Steven Marx as president/COO of the company. The appointment caps a year-long phase of strategic additions to the company’s executive team. Marx, who assumed his new role on June 1, now presides over all five Manhattan properties. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience, and most recently served as evp/operations for Loews Hotels. He also previously worked as a vice president for the Kimpton Hotel Group. At BHG, Marx will spearhead a five-year plan, focusing on controlled growth into new and existing markets.
