SYRACUSE, NY— The Marx Hotel & Conference Center has launched another new phase of development, a website. By logging on to www.themarxsyracuse.com, visitors can obtain a variety of information about the new hotel in Syracuse. A highlight of the site is its design gallery where renderings of the hotels $22 million redevelopment can be viewed. Other information such as the history of the project, hotel management and news releases are also available on the site. The former University Tower Hotel, which is near Syracuse University and the OnCenter in downtown Syracuse, has been undergoing a transformation into The Marx. Scheduled for completion this quarter will be 280 newly refurbished rooms, a 12,500-square-foot conference center, a restaurant, lounge, 20th floor meeting and banquet space and other amenities. The hotel will employ 175 people when fully operational.
