ORLANDO— Heathrow Hotel Associates LLC and Pinnacle Hotel Management are looking at a June opening for their $36 million, 304-room Orlando Marriott-Lake Mary in Seminole County, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The 10-story hotel will feature a restaurant, lounge, health club and 11,000 square feet of meeting space. Rooms will have a “Florida foliage” theme. Meanwhile, the report also noted that the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center has completed a $100 million renovation of the 2,000-room hotel. Changes included redesigning and expanding the resorts 18-hole golf course, Hawks Landing; adding a 500-room tower; installing high-speed Internet access in all rooms and suites; and renovating the lobby to include marble flooring and a martini bar.
