WASHINGTON— Marriott International said it plans to open the 347-room Bridgewater Marriott on April 2 in Bridgewater, NJ, which it will both own and operate. The hotel sits 33 miles from Newark International Airport and is within walking distance of the Bridgewater Commons Mall, as well as several pharmaceutical companies, including Aventis, Johnson & Johnson, Pharmacia and Merck. The property will have 12 meeting rooms, as well as an 8,549-square-foot grand ballroom, divisible into eight smaller rooms. It will also offer high-speed Internet access as well as a business center. The hotel’s food and beverage outlet will be “T-Bones-A Tuscan Steakhouse.” A lobby bar called Martini’s will also be available.
