NEW YORK— Marriott International is reportedly considering adding more properties to its 13-hotel portfolio in Hawaii. “We are bullish about Hawaii and would like to do more business here. We see the leisure market being the strongest business in 2004,” J.W. “Bill” Marriott, chairman/CEO of Marriott International, said in a statement to American City Business Journals, Inc. while in Hawaii. According to the report, Marriott has management contracts for two Courtyard by Marriott hotels, one on Maui, the other on Kauai and is looking to bring a Ritz-Carlton to Ko Olina.
