NEW YORK— Marriott International will test a new concept at its new JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa when it opens this December. According to GM Steve Hart, the 950-room property will have a “Cloud Club,” which will act as a “boutique hotel within a hotel.” The Cloud Club will provide its own concierge and butler service as well as separate check-in facilities. HOTEL BUSINESS® has also learned that Ritz-Carlton will open a stand-alone golf club facility in Jupiter, FL in November 2003. Ruthanne Terrero
