Marriott Int’l Sells 4 Hotels For $102M

WASHINGTON, DC— Marriott International sold four hotels for $102 million in cash to Hospitality Properties Trust. Each of the hotels will continue to be operated by Marriott International under long-term management agreements with an affiliate of Hospitality Properties Trust. The hotels, representing 900 guestrooms, include: a 356-room Marriott resort in Kauai, Hawaii; a newly developed Courtyard by Marriott with 295 guestrooms in California; and a 114-room SpringHill Suites and a 135-room TownePlace Suites in Washington state.
