WASHINGTON DC Marriott International bypassed the $100,000 cap on inaugural donations by giving $750,000 to President George W. Bushs inaugural committee through various subsidiaries, the Washington Post reported, citing disclosure records.

The Bethesda, MD-based hotel chain ranked as the largest contributor to the committee through donations from the parent company, the companys architect and construction division, Marriotts senior living services and distribution service units, and the brands Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn, Towne Place Suites and Residence Inn, the Post reported.
