Marriott Considers Energy Surcharge In NY

WASHINGTON, D.C. Bill Marriott, Jr., chairman/CEO Marriott International, said that the company is considering an energy surcharge for its New York hotels. At a press conference during the company s Security Analyst Meeting here, Marriott said that the company s energy costs are up 30% overall, but in New York it s much higher.
