NEW YORK— Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites and Residence Inn by Marriott are customer satisfaction leaders according to the recently announced 2002 American Traveler Survey, conducted by NFO Plog Research. The annual survey sorts hotel brands into categories and provides rankings based on customer satisfaction. In their respective first class and moderate segments, Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott both ranked number one in customer satisfaction among business travelers. Results of the NFO Plog Research study are based on surveys of 9,000 U.S. households, and hotels brands are ranked according to its Guest Satisfaction Index.
