BOSTON— Mandarin Oriental International announced that it will manage a new hotel currently under development here. The 168-room hotel will be a component of the Prudential Center, a mixed-use concept located on Boylston Street. The project’s developer is CWB Boylston, a Boston-based real estate company. In addition to the hotel component, the project will include residential units, which will be branded and serviced by Mandarin Oriental. Slated to open in the spring of 2006, the hotel will have a 15,000-square-foot spa and wellness center and 7,000 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities. Mandarin Oriental currently operates 18 hotels around the globe.
