Mandarin Oriental Taps Lescoe

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Mandarin Oriental Management USA has appointed Patricia Lescoe as director/sales and marketing for Mandarin Oriental, Washington, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2004. The 400-room hotel will be part of the Portals project, a mixed-used development consisting of upscale office, retail and restaurant components located in the southwest sector of Washington, D.C. Republic Properties Corp. is developing the project. Prior to her appointment, Lescoe was director/sales and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, Greensboro, GA. In other experience, she spent 10 years with Four Seasons-Regent Hotels and Resorts, serving in a variety of capacities.
