ATLANTA, GA— Magna Hospitality Group of Annapolis, MD, has signed a deal with StayOnline, a leading provider of wi-fi solutions, to install wireless high-speed Internet access, in half of its properties. StayOnline is the only industry provider installing 100% wireless solutions. “We’re excited about wi-fi,” said Bill Burress, president and founder of Magna Hospitality. “This technology is clearly the near-term answer to our clients’ connectivity needs. Our installations to date have resulted in a clear improvement in our guests’ perception of value. In the near future, high-speed access will be as commonplace an amenity as soap.” Burress said the selection of StayOnline came after a long search of both wired and wireless options, and a long look at capable vendors. StayOnline, based here, has begun installations at the Comfort Suites BWI and Hampton Inn in Bowie, MD. The Hampton Inn & Suites at Providence Airport/ Warwick, RI, is also slated to begin installation within the next few weeks. Burruss said that plans are in place to provide high-speed access in all of the hotels within the Magna portfolio.
