LONDON— In a marketing effort, The Ritz here will officially join the Ritz-Carlton branded name to allow the hotel to more smoothly interface with its worldwide affiliates. Specifically, as a result of this change the U.S. Ritz-Carlton chain can now book its guests into the Ritz London in a seamless transition. So, this move will more directly link the Ritz London with the Ritz-Carlton brand, a worldwide chain of hotels owned by Marriott International with properties seated throughout the world. Ritz-Carlton executives hope this initiative will allow the brand to reach even more clients. The deal lasts for an initial 10 years.
