ATLANTA— At an annual meeting, Lodgian shareholders voted to re-elect Robert Cole and Richard Weiner to the companys board of directors as Class III directors to serve for three-year terms expiring at the 2004 annual meeting of shareholders. The company also appointed Lewis Wolff as a Class III director with a term expiring in 2004. Wolff is co-founder and chairman of Maritz, Wolff & Co. Pursuant to a previous agreement, Lodgian’s board of directors appointed William Yung, as a Class II director with a term expiring in 2003. Yung is currently the president of Columbia Sussex Corp. In addition, as part of the company’s long-term management plan, Thomas Eppich resigned on June 15 as CFO. Eppich had been on long-term assignment from Jay Alix & Associates since May 2000, working to improve Lodgians financial systems and reporting. Eppich will remain a consultant to Lodgian, and his responsibilities will be transitioned to Charles Miller, the companys corporate controller and chief accounting officer and Thomas Stoughton, Lodgian’s svp/finance.
