SIOUX FALLS, S.D.— LodgeNet Entertainment Corp., a provider of broadband, interactive television and Internet access services to the lodging industry, reports that the two most popular films requested by hotel guests in 2001 were “Meet The Parents,” and “Cast Away,” respectively. Filling out the top 10 list were “What Women Want;” “Hannibal;” “Charlies Angels;” “Miss Congeniality;” “Shrek;” “The Mummy Returns;” “Blow;” and “Traffic.” The ranking is based on 313,000 movie buys from the hotels that LodgeNet services. LodgeNet provides service to more than 875,000 rooms (including more than 805,000 interactive guest pay rooms) in more than 5,300 hotel properties.
