Liguori To Head Hyatt Gaming

CHICAGO— Peter Liguori has been promoted to president of Hyatt Gaming Management, Inc., an operator of casinos and casino resorts in North and South America, and the Caribbean. Liguori joined Hyatt Gaming in 1998 as vp and chief financial officer. He has almost 25 years of experience in land-based, riverboat and Native American casinos throughout the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining Hyatt, he was corporate vp of finance for Ameristar Casinos, Inc., a gaming company with five casinos in the U.S. In other experience he was vp and treasurer of Capital Gaming International, Inc., which specializes in the development and management of Native American casinos, and has worked for Harrah’s Entertainment. Hyatt Gaming’s roster of casinos includes: the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino; the Hyatt Regency Aruba; the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort; the Regency Casino in Mendoza, Argentina; the Regency Casino in Thessaloniki, Greece; and the Cerromar Casino in Puerto Rico. Hyatt Gaming is also affiliated with casinos in Elgin, IL, Indiana and the new Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada.
