BEVERLY HILLS, CA— Jacques Ligné has been named general manager of Le Meridien at Beverly Hills and area general manager for the West Coast. As general manager of the Beverly Hills property, Ligné will oversee every aspect of the multi-million dollar renovation scheduled to be finished in late summer, in addition to supervising operations and marketing for the 297-room hotel. Upon completion of the renovation, Le Meridien at Beverly Hills will be a flagship property for the international chain. Ligné has led major renovations for Le Meridien in Paris, Cairo, and Bangkok. Hotel and restaurant designer Pierre-Yves Rochon is the design director for the renovation. Ligné and Rochon worked together on a prior renovation project at Le Meridien Cairo in 1991.
