LAS VEGAS—Lexington by Vantage added the D Las Vegas Casino Hotel to its Legacy collection, giving the soft brand its third hotel.
Located on the Fremont Street Experience, it is the first casino and full-service hotel in Las Vegas for Lexington’s member-driven parent company, Vantage Hospitality Group, Inc.
The D opened in October 2012 and has 638 remodeled rooms and suites and a two-level casino.
By affiliating with the Lexington Legacy brand, the D will maintain its name while having the support resources of Vantage Hospitality, which has more than 1,000 hotels worldwide.
“The D’s partnership with Lexington Legacy allows us to align with a national hotel brand without sacrificing our unique identity. We’re excited for the opportunity to expand our reach and the potential for greater revenue and occupancy,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of the D Las Vegas.
“Derek and his partners have done a remarkable job of creating a new environment at the D that fits into the revitalized downtown area. They also realize that joining a soft brand like Lexington Legacy will take them to the next level,” said Roger Bloss, president/CEO of Vantage.
The D features numerous onsite restaurants and bars, four shows and meeting facilities for up to 300 persons.
Earlier this year, Lexington by Vantage added the New Kuta Hotel in Bali, Indonesia, and the historic Lions Gate Hotel & Conference Center in Sacramento, CA, to its Lexington Legacy Hotel brand.
