LAS VEGAS—Leisure Industries Corp. of America has changed its independent auditors, hiring BDO Seidman LLP as its independent accounting firm, replacing Ernst and Young LLP. Floyd Kephart, chairman/CEO, commented: “As part of the restructuring that began in the first quarter of 2002 and is now complete, we have established Leisure Industries as a broad-based, fully integrated vacation ownership, land sales and travel services company. The audit committee of the board of directors went through a diligent review of prospective audit firms and ultimately concluded that BDO Seidman LLP should be engaged.” Leisure Industries develops and operates vacation ownership resorts, markets land for use as vacation home sites and provides consumer financing to purchasers of its vacation ownership interests and land parcels. It has resorts and land developments in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Jersey, Colorado, Florida and Hawaii.
