TORONTO— Legacy Hotels Real Estate Investment Trust announced it would distribute $0.185 per unit to unitholders of record as of December 28, 2001 for the fourth quarter of 2001. Payment will be made on December 31, 2001. The distribution is consistent with that of the third quarter of 2001 and as a result, the total distribution for the year ended December 31, 2001 will be$0.87 per unit. The tax allocation for the 2001 distributions will be available on Legacys website (www.legacyhotels.ca) the week of February 11, 2002. Legacy plans to release its results for the fourth quarter and the year ended December 31, 2001 in late January 2002.
