VERONA, NY— Andrew Lee has been promoted to vp of hospitality at Turning Stone Resort and Casino. Prior to his appointment he served as Turning Stones vp of food and beverage since December 2003. In his new position, Lee oversees the resorts spa and lodging operations, as well as the food and beverage operations, including menu and restaurant concepts, human resource management and daily operations. Before joining Turning Stone, Lee was resident manager of The Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, CA. He has 25 years of experience in managing fine dining and banquet conference operations at four-star and four-diamond properties, including 12 years in various capacities with the Omni Hotels chain. The Oneida Indian Nations Turning Stone Resort and Casino is a destination resort located about 30 miles east of Syracuse, NY. The resort offers guests a variety of choices including gaming, golf, entertainment and fine dining. The property also has nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space and banquet facilities. In early 2004, Turning Stone opened The Lodge, a 98-suite luxury hotel, and Atunyote, a championship golf course designed by Tom Fazio. More recently a 19-story, 287-room tower hotel was added to the complex.
