BEVERLY HILLS, CA— Le Meridien at Beverly Hills has become the newest member of Virtuoso’s hotel Portfolio, an exclusive membership organization that properties are invited to join after passing a strict set of criteria. The new affiliation falls on the heels of the hotel’s recently completed a $15 million renovation. The hotel’s recent renovation by designer Pierre Yves Rochon blends the look of European designs with the California lifestyle. For example, the hotel added a new skylight that showers its expansive marble lobby with additional light. Off this lobby is a new state-of-the-art Business Lounge, along with the updated Café Noir Bar and Lounge, a bank of meeting rooms and other hotel facilities. The hotel’s 297 oversized guestrooms, including 54 suites, now feature large executive desks, personal fax/printer/copiers, a high-tech bedside control system programmed in seven languages, Serta Presidential beds, Porthault linens, and a host of other amenities.
