NEWPORT, RI—This May, Lark Hotels will open Gilded, its newest boutique hotel in a collection of New England properties.
The hotel, with 13 rooms and four suites, was designed by Boston-based interior designer Rachel Reider, and features a mix of ornate mirrors, lacquered surfaces and gold accents.
Guests may take advantage of the billiards room, complete with a black velvet and white lacquer pool table or relax in the secluded courtyard with a croquet practice court.
Lifestyle brand Vineyard Vines, the official outfitter for all Lark Hotels, will provide attire for Gilded’s staff. The hotel participates in the “On a Lark Club,” which allows guests to accrue points for each stay, may be redeemed for a future stay, exclusive benefits, packages and experiences.
“Our property, The Attwater, has been a great success in Newport with it’s unconventional take on nautical style,” said Lark Hotels CEO Rob Blood. “We look forward to guests seeing another classic side of Newport, the Gilded Age, depicted in a fresh and clever way with Gilded.”
Additional Lark Hotels include Whitehall, Camden, ME; Captain Fairfield Inn, Kennebunkport, ME; 21 Broad, Nantucket, MA; 76 Main, Nantucket, MA; The Attwater, Newport, RI; Pomegranate Inn, Portland, ME; Ale House Inn, Portsmouth, NH; and The Break, Narragansett, RI.
