NANTUCKET, MA—New England-based Lark Hotels held the grand opening of 76 Main, a design-oriented, 20-room boutique hotel here.
Lark will manage the hotel, which is owned by Bruce A. Percelay, chairman of the Mount Vernon Co. and publisher of Nantucket Magazine.
Guestrooms and suites at 76 Main are situated within the Main House and Guest House which are connected by a landscaped courtyard with fire pit. There is a café with baked goods and evenings offer a cocktail mixer bar via a BYOB policy.
Guestrooms and common areas feature designs by Boston, MA-based Rachel Reider Interiors. Classic and rich tones are contrasted by white to create a refined, yet relaxed, Nantucket retreat, according to the company. There’s also a vineyard vines suite, which infuses a mix of coastal preppy chic combined with the modern touches for which Lark Hotel accommodations are known. Interior designs exude a vacation house feel: pillows and bed bolsters are made from board short material and the edging on the window shades from vineyard vines belts.
A second vineyard vines suite may be seen at 76 Main’s sister hotel, the Captain Fairfield Inn in Kennebunkport, ME.
