SAN MATEO, CA— WorldRes.com, an online hotel reservation and distribution network, has signed an agreement with La Quinta Inns to add its more than 300 properties to the WorldRes network. Reservations for the 300-plus properties will eventually be processed through a seamless interface between the WorldRes network and La Quintas central reservation systems. Most of the properties are now active on the WorldRes system, with La Quinta able to access WorldRes distribution network of Web-based travel distribution partners, including Delta.com, Lycos, Yahoo!, and BestLodging.com. Travelers will be able to go to any of the WorldRes partner sites to view detailed information and make secure, real-time reservations and confirmations at any of the La Quinta properties nationwide.
