SAN JUAN, PR—La Concha, A Renaissance Resort here recently received the Four Diamond rating conferred by the American Automobile Association, (AAA), becoming one of four hotels on the island to share this distinction. “Obtaining the Four Diamond rate in little more than a year from our opening is a great achievement. This award is recognition of the effort and dedication of each one of our more than 300 working colleagues,” said José Suárez, president of La Concha. Other properties in Puerto Rico that share this classification include the Intercontinental, the Ritz Carlton and the San Juan Marriott Resort. La Concha Resort, located on Ashford Ave. in the Condado section, opened in December 2007.
