Kor Hotel Group Names New Management

BEVERLY HILLS, CA— The Kor Hotel Group announced the appointment of Anita Khalek as general manager of Maison 140, a 44-room boutique hotel here. Prior to her appointment, Khalek was the director of Six Sigma, a division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Santa Monica, CA. Also, Joachim Reitman, former GM of Maison 140, was appointed general manager at Kor Hotel Group’s newest acquisition, the 112-room Summerfield Suites in West Hollywood. Reitman was the general manager at Maison 140 for two years before being named to his new position. The Summerfield Suites, which was built in 1976, will be undergoing a renovation this year and will reopen in late 2003 under the Kor Hotel Group banner.
