SAN DIEGO—Kona Kai Resort & Marina opened SpaTerre, a 7,020-sq.-ft. space and the signature spa brand of Noble House Hotels & Resorts. SpaTerre blends Indonesian spa treatments, Thai rituals and ancient spa traditions, according to the company.
“We’re thrilled to be opening SpaTerre, Shelter Island’s only world-class spa. It brings unique offerings and global cross-cultural experiences to Kona Kai Resort & Marina,” stated Dan Pierotti, VP of spa development and operations of Noble House Hotels & Resorts. “With the recent completion of hotel renovations at Kona Kai, SpaTerre aligns perfectly with the resort’s fresh environment of casual elegance, and allows our guests to further enjoy the same revitalization and relaxation that the resort has become known for.”
SpaTerre features six treatment rooms, two manicure stations and three pedicure thrones. It also offers a couples suite, “Zen Den” relaxation room, Vichy wet room and state-of-the-art fitness center with MATRIX and TechnoGym equipment. Fitness classes and a spa boutique are offered in addition to the spa and fitness center.
