SHORT HILLS, NJ— Richard Kennedy has joined the Hilton Short Hills as executive chef. Kennedy comes to the Hilton from the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City where he was executive chef there and spearheaded culinary efforts during the opening of the hotel. As executive chef of Hilton Short Hills, Kennedy will be instrumental in enhancing the Hilton’s banquet menus and will also contribute his expertise to the property’s casual restaurant, The Terrace, and fine dining venue, The Dining Room. Prior to his work at the Hyatt in Jersey City, Kennedy was executive chef of the Hyatt Sarasota on Sarasota Bay, FL. He also formerly held several positions at the Hyatt Regency Tampa, including executive sous chef, banquet sous chef and chef de cuisine. The 304-room Hilton Short Hills offers a full-service spa and salon, an executive boardroom, five conference suites, six executive conference rooms and a 5,150-square-foot Grand Ballroom.
