BEIJING—The JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central, the capital city’s second JW Marriott property, opened here today.
The new flagship hotel is located in Xuanwumen and is within walking distance to sites such as Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Xidan Commercial Centre. It offers 412 guestrooms with a contemporary design; 60 suites include 18 Residence Suites with kitchens, and 12 Sky Garden Suites offer an open-air balcony.
The property features three restaurants and one lounge. Man Ho, offering Cantonese cuisine with seasonal organic ingredients, has modern minimalist decor with dark wood and traditional Chinese elements. Casalingo, a casual Italian restaurant, offers Italian cuisine in a bright Mediterranean-style ambience with a wine bar. JW Kitchen, an all-day dining venue, serves global cuisines from breakfast to dinner. The Lobby Lounge offers a selection of refreshments.
JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central offers banquet and conference venues. The fifth level is dedicated to events and there is a pillar-free Grand Ballroom.
The Living Room is a residential-style venue that comprises multifunctional meeting rooms, dining areas and an open kitchen. Nine function rooms also are available. Each area has high-speed Internet access and audio-visual technology.
The top floor features a health club with a 24-hour., high-tech gym, whirlpool, steam and sauna, as well as a glass-roof swimming pool.
