LOS ANGELES, CA— Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has promoted Arthur Buser to managing director at the firm’s offices here, while Amelia Lim in the hotel investment-services group’s New York office has been elevated to the position of vp. Buser heads the West Coast operations for the company and oversees a dedicated hotel staff of seven involved in the sale and financing of hotel real estate and hotel companies, as well as valuation, consulting and asset-management. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, Buser worked at the operational and regional levels for Hilton Hotels and was a vp in the hotel division of The Yarmouth Group (now Lend Lease Real Estate Investments). Lim has been equally involved in advisory and consulting work, having conducted strategic studies and asset-valuations on behalf of some of the largest companies in the industry.
