Jones Lang LaSalle Names New CEO

CHICAGO and LONDON Jones Lang LaSalle has named Christopher Peacock to be the firm s president/CEO, effective January 1, 2002. Peacock is currently president/deputy CEO and COO.

Peacock will succeed Stuart Scott, who will retire from his post as the company s CEO at the end of the year. Scott has agreed to continue serving as the board s chairman. A replacement for Peacock s COO position will be chosen later in the year.

Additionally, at the company s annual meeting, three new directors were elected: Robin Broadhurst, chairman/Europe; Robert Orr, CEO/Europe; and William Sullivan, evp/capital investments and technology. Also, re-elected as directors were Earl Webb, CEO/Americas; Henri-Claude de Bettignies, professor at INSEAD; and Darryl Hartley-Leonard, chairman/CEO of PGI. (5/16/01)
