Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Gets New CEO

LONDON—Arthur de Haast has been appointed Global CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels taking over from Peter Barge effective January 2003. Arthur de Haast has more than 20 years experience in the hotel industry His clients include: Hilton Group, Six Continents, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International and Strategic Hotel Capital. Barge will become Global Chairman for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels as well as taking over as CEO, Asia Pacific, for Jones Lang LaSalle Meanwhile, Nick Marsh, currently executive vp of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Europe, will take over from de Haast as European CEO. Marsh has headed Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotel Capital Markets team in Europe since 1999.
