SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA— Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels is transferring SVP Troy Craig from the organization’s Singapore location back to Sydney to lead the firm’s Australian Valuation and Advisory Services unit here. At the same time, SVP Max Cooper has been promoted to oversee the firm’s Special Projects in the Asia Pacific region. In his new role, Cooper will be charged with originating new hotel and tourism property services for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ Asia- and Australia-based clients. Craig joined Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in 1996 as a valuer. In 1998, he transferred to the firm’s Singapore office, assuming responsibility for the valuation and advisory team in Asia. Cooper has been employed in the real estate industry for over 20 years and has specialized in providing corporate advisory services for hotel and tourism properties since 1988. More recently, he worked with the corporate finance unit to assist in restructuring and debt-placement for hotel assets in the Asia Pacific Region.
