OMAHA, NE— John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. has named David Scott director of sales for the Embassy Suites Hotel Old Market here. An 18-year industry veteran, Scott oversees all sales and marketing efforts for the hotel, which is owned by John Q. Hammons and managed by John Q. Hammons Hotels. Most recently, Scott served as the product general manager for Creative Holidays in Sydney, Australia. He provided strategic direction and management for a product team of more than 20 staff members, including destination managers, and database, inventory and confirmation specialists. Prior to that position, Scott was the director of sales for the Radisson Resort Palm Meadows in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
