RESTON HEIGHTS, VA—The Westin Reston Heights project here is now under way and is expected to be completed in early 2008. JBG Cos. is the owner and developer of the project. Upon completion, the hotel will be managed by Crestline Hotels and Resorts under a long-term management contract. The resort will include 175 rooms and about 6,000 square feet of meeting space. Each room will contain an oversize desk, a two-line cordless telephone with a data port, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, the Westin WakeCup coffee brewer with Starbucks coffee and a refreshment center. The Westin Reston Heights will be the third building constructed within JBG’s Reston Heights project. The other two structures include the Mercer, which is a condominium, and a 140,000-square-foot office building that is under construction. The total mixed-use project will rise on 35 acres and is designed to become an upscale lifestyle center with office, residential, hotel and retail components.
